Popis produktu: Agilent Endoglycosidases (formerly ProZyme) release oligosaccharides from glycoproteins and some other substrates. These enzymes are useful for deglycosylating glycoproteins prior to analysis, or for releasing N-glycans for labeling and analysis. Useful in N-glycan analysis, Agilent offers PNGase F, an asparagine amidase that releases intact N-glycans. PNGase F cleaves between the innermost GlcNac of the N-glycan and the asparagine (Asn) residue of the peptide to which the N-glycan is linked

Zdroj enzymu: Recombinant gene from Elizabethkingia meningoseptica, expressed in E. coli. The source organism was previously known as Chryseobacterium [Flavobacterium] meningosepticum. Enzyme is also known as Endoglycosidase F2, endo-beta-N-acetylglucosaminidase.

Specifita enzymu: The enzyme cleaves within the di-N-acetyl chitobiose (GlcNAc-GlcNAc) core of high mannose and biantennary complex type N-linked glycans of oligosaccharide, glycopeptide, or glycoprotein substrates. A single GlcNAc residue remains attached to the molecule after hydrolysis, the rest of the glycan is released. This specificity is distinct from PNGase F (GKE-5006), which cleaves between asparagine and the innermost GlcNAc of N-linked glycans. EndoF2 cleaves between GlcNAc-GlcNac in biantennary glycans at a rate approximately 20 times higher than high mannose glycans. The enzyme is not active towards hybrid type or tri- and tetraantennary oligosaccharides.
